“Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and right doing there is a field. I’ll meet you there”
Rumi
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 15-years of direct clinical experience, I believe in the potential that relationships offer for growth and healing. This includes relationships with others, relationship with ourselves, and the therapeutic relationship as well. My work is highly collaborative, which means that the therapy space will be mutually co-created and that each individual’s experience and wisdom will be honored. My approach is grounded in the principles of mindfulness and compassion, which cultivates an honest and warm container for building insight and making meaningful, enduring change.
I work with individual adults, couples, and families facing issues involving stress, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma (complex trauma, vicarious trauma, singular trauma, PTSD, developmental trauma), moral injury, relationship challenges, body image dissatisfaction, caregiver fatigue, work burnout, feeling stuck, life transitions, and strong inner-criticism/shame. I integrate several models of treatment including attachment-focused, body-based, and trauma-informed lenses. With a value for holistic wellbeing, I am interested in the intersection of the physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, relational, cultural, and psychological realms.
As a Certified Mindful Self-Compassion teacher, I have the honor and privilege of holding space for those interested in improving their relationship with themselves. Self-compassion is most effectively learned while in connection with others and I am grateful to offer support and consultation for individuals and groups looking to increase their emotional resilience skillset through mindfulness and self-compassion practices.
I have specialized training in psychedelic-assisted therapy and have experience facilitating ketamine- and psilocybin-assisted therapy in controlled, clinical settings. I am passionate about creating a safe setting to explore and integrate the potential of expanded states of consciousness.
I am committed to constant growth, both personally and professionally, and integrate new and evidence-based modalities, research, and methods of treatment and healing.
